This is spicy, but it is smooth, rounded, and the spiciness is soft and sweet to my nose rather than loud or sharp. Probably because it’s coming from the cinnamon which is a naturally warm, sweet smelling spice.
What I get from this is a smooth, warm, rich vanilla with a dusting of chocolate powder and cinnamon. It is foremost a vanilla scent- but I am so so pleased, because I don’t have a vanilla that smells like this, nor do I recall ever smelling one like it. It’s really really REALLY good. I don’t get the almond (I’m a massive almond fan) but this is my first impression and I haven’t allowed it to macerate. I’d be disappointed by this, but I am not because it just smells so damn good.
I’m looking forward to smelling after it’s had some time to macerate. So far it’s moderate but so far it’s hanging around on my skin, whereas a perfume that’s simply formulated to be weak would’ve faded away by now. Super pleased!!!!
Also, I’ve seen some say it’s just like khamrah- to my nose, this couldn’t be further from the truth. I had the OG before selling it as I prefer Qahwa - Sehr smells NOTHING like either. At all. So if you have either of those and worried this is similar or the same- IMO it is nothing like either.
